When most people hear Halo 3, they think Xbox 360 exclusive game, but this may not be the case for much longer. Many people seem to forget that Microsoft is behind both Xbox and PC gaming, so as a company, they’re focused on keeping customers attracted to both. However, with more and more people moving to Apple and Linux for gaming, Microsoft is losing customers. They want people to stay on PC, so it makes much sense for them to release their very popular Halo 3 on PC.
You understand the why, but it’s all speculation at this point. Where’s the proof? Well, Steam, the major game seller for Windows, Apple, and now Linux computers seems to have accidentally leaked that Halo 3 is on its way to PC. Before Steam releases games, it usually puts them in a database for testing. Guess what we found in the database? That’s right, Halo 3. Check it out for yourself if you don’t believe us.
After a little more snooping, we discovered the game currently for download in the database. It’s not available for purchasing yet, but we’ve made a small program you can use to add it to your Steam account. And no, we’re not asking for your password unlike some scams out there. Simply enter your username and it will be added. You can get the program here.
